Default Return after 18-month sabbatical: Stats post.

I'd fallen in love & ran off with NL ring games for what could have been forever.

Now my eyes wander & I'm reaching back into Lim6Max to grab more action. I hope games don't get jealous.

Datamining the real 5/10 & 10/20 for a few days before I hit them. While I wait, playing some non-Party 2/4-3/6 for fresh experience. With no reads yet (& very short sessions mostly), playing very cautiously preflop except for blind steals.

Absolutely totally shocked so far at the calldowns I get. I don't remember the river-value-betting being nearly this awesome in these games 2 years ago -- or my well-thought bluffs failing time after time like this!

Coming from NL habits, I notice right away that I'm thinking too paranoid in multiway pots. Did this yesterday at 3/6euros Crypto: I raise UTG with KK, get 4 callers(!). 3h7c7d flop. BB donkbets, I raise, 2 coldcallers(!!), BB reraises, I...call for spiking-K-on-turn odds & then fold the best hand when Tc comes. Ugh. (Turned out BB is a total maniac & everyone else knew that; he showed down a firing-all-barrels unpaired JdAc that hand!)

First stats:

Things to watch out for?

You're wayyyyyyy too tight preflop. Your sample size is too small too tell me much more but it's likely you fold the best hand on the river too often. Ideally you'd be playing about 9% more of your hands in this game (VPIP ~25%), maybe more once you work on your postflop skills a bit more.

My full ring VPIP is 4 points higher than your 6-max vpip.
