10 dollar buy-in live poker hand
Early in the tourney... everyone has around $10 in chips. This hand, I felt it was time to be aggressive and make a move as I have been tight all game...
20/40 cent blinds UTG folds UTG +1 raises to 150 folds to me on the BB and I have A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I call Flop comes, 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I check. Villian raises to $2 and I push my stack of about $9 or 10 Villian calls and flips over QQ with a club and I hit an Ace on the river. The reason I pushed was because the villian is a good player that knows how to bluff and scare people away from pots. Even without a piece of the flop, I figured I was ahead of most of his holdings. With 15 possible outs, I was in a comfortable spot. How was this play? Did I gamble too much? |

I push here as well. Your a favorite here against QQ and a coinflip against KK. Do you think you have any FE here?

Re: 10 dollar buy-in live poker hand
i figured he would fold with one club and no piece of the flop (AQc etc). I hadn't seen him fold many hands (first time playing with him) but I knew he was a pretty good player.

I can find reasons to push or fold, Calling is the worst play here by a long way IMO
