Satellite final table
Hi,
I am not used to playing satellites, and I would like to know what you think about that hand. Satellite for a EPT qualifier on Stars. We are down to 6, and there are 4 tickets to the qualifier. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t3000 (6 handed) converter saw flop|saw showdown UTG (t11942) MP (t21319) Hero (t15705) Button (t17700) SB (t28090) BB (t44244) Preflop: Hero is CO with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG folds, MP folds, What do you do ? Everyone is playing very tight and BB is quite solid, I have not seen him call a raise without a pocket pair or 2 face cards. Thanks sahaguje |

Re: Satellite final table
Esay fold. If your out to steal the blinds, you will need to push all-in. And pushing into the chip leader with that hand, on the bubble, isn't that great an idea.
Wait it out and let the others bust out. |

Re: Satellite final table
Hi,
I think this advice is wrong, if the BB is very solid, he'll fold most of his hands. And given his HUGE chip lead, would probably just fold even hands like AJ/KJ/A9 since its a sat and 4th is just as good as 1st. If either blind is overly agressive or loose, I think folding is right here. Thanks, MarkV. |

Re: Satellite final table
It depends, but if anyone is going to call your all in with something like AJ-99, it's certainly the BB so I fold.
I would much rather raise on every other stack 5 hands in a row than take on the one that'll still have 30K left if he loses with a marginal hand. |
