Fold it if he re-raised?????? You want to get all your money in with this hand. Once in a blue moon you'll be shown a bigger set.

I believe you played it pretty good. Most often you will be looking at TPTK or two pair and not another set. I say get your cash in the pot and go for it. I'm guessing he had AJ.

no way in hell would i lay this down for another $4.25 with over $10 in the pot. besides, a lot of players will simply push you in with a hand like AJ that they intend to call with anyway. if you each had another $50 on the table and the opponent was a rock, a fold could be considered. but that is a totally different spot.

Maybe I'm too loose with bottom set, but I would only consider throwing it if there was no PFR (and therefore no likely overpair) *and* I was against a complete rock *and* the highest card on the board was an 9 or lower (no likely TPTK) *and* it was a rainbow board *and* I had no reason to suspect any sort of straight draw. You have maybe 2 of those. If he hit a set of Jacks, them's the breaks but I'd expect to be shown QQ or AJ.

This is something you need to work on. If you are looking to lay down sets, then you are probably folding too much in general.
