If the third meaning is a real one, I think the turn minraise fits well under it. It definitely shows no regard for accepted standards.

Oh yeah, I like the flop raise too.

one of the great things about raising the flop with the nut flush is that smaller flushes and sets reraise like crazy to "protect their hands".

Plus it means you can get it allin by the turn, before scare cards hit for them (fourth suited card) or you (board pair).

raise the flop. fast playing flopped nut flushes makes a lot of money. (set, 2 pair, smaller flush will try to fast play their hand thinking you are raising w/ one high card drawing to the flush)

For some reason I keep thinking I need to disguise my hand by cold calling bets with strong hands, when I'm psycho enough to paid off on second pair type hands. What's wrong with me. I think I need to raise here, thank's creed.

Oh man, what a horrible line. Any of the following are better:

1. Raise flop, bet/raise whenever you get the chance.
2. Call flop, raise bigger on a blank turn.
3. Call flop, call blank turn, push blank river.

I will almost always raise, and use #2 or #3 to balance vs trickier opponents.

At these stakes, if villain is a regular, this is an instafold. I am only calling if he is an unknown with LAG tendencies.

I think I was being serious last night. A set minraises the turn? no way. Did you call or fold?

Edit: yeah, I'm retarded, don't read 2+2 when drunk. I thought villain minraised turn, then pushed river. FOLD.
