I played lacrosse...I looked at Pop Warner ball when I was 11 and said, "Eff that, Dad. How'm I going to turn out if I spend much of my formative years at the bottom of a pile of other guys?"

As a matter of fact, I still play lacrosse...just got back from a 40-and-over tourney over the weekend. 4 games Friday, 5 games on Saturday. It's one of the beauties of the game, I can keep playing until I can't walk any more (one of our guys was 63, and wearing this prehistoric piece of crap on his head...it was leather, being held together with masking tape...not duct tape, not electrical tape, MASKING tape).
