killington is huge, crowded, and mediocre. can be decent if with locals, but not worth it as a trip without a guide who really knows the mountain.

the only place better than Stowe is Jay Peak. more snow, better terrain, not nearly as nice a town/nightlife.

IF - and that is a big if - it's been a huge snow winter, Smugglers Notch is also arguably better than Stowe. some sick terrain there.
