Preflop: Fold. Yeah, you're getting 5-1, but you probably won't win by pairing.

Flop: Bet out. I don't get the double check-raise. Can you really be confident 3-betting with a pair of nines, no kicker? You have no redraws, either.

Turn: What's with this guy and the check-raises. I think you have to call here, because the pot odds are now somewhere around 8.5 to 1, but I would probably be wishing I hadn't made it this far.

River: Okay, you got lucky and made trips. You could be behind to a boat or maybe K9 or something weird like that, though. So raise the river and call a re-raise.

results: baronzeus raises, seif 3-bets baronzeus cries and calls and seif takes down the pot.

in other words, you knew what the correct play was, and you got unlucky. don't second guess yourself.
