Default How hard can I push with AA?

Villain is unknown. I was going to just call most rivers, but I figured this river was particularly good for me.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Button calls.

Flop: (7 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

River: (12.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 18.50 BB

sorry spicy. this is the worst possible river for you other than perhaps the 9d. the river is an easy checkcall.

Sorry. I didn't think it all the way through. At the time I was thinking he must of capped the turn with TT, JJ, QQ, KK, AA. When the T came, I figured there was less of a chance he had TT, and therefore I could raise. I realize that many of those hands are playing way differently before the turn, so it is unlikely he has them. More likely he has some kind of T with some kicker.

Sorry for this post, and sorry for the river raise .

After the turn cap, you're beat most of the time. Not enough to fold. the T on the river doesn't change anything really. Except AT has got you now and you now beat 87. But J9, 65, 88, 77, and 44 are still decently likely hands that have you beat.

That's a bit of a stretch I think. It's possible but so is T4.

Edit: I did miss T8 though. That's a somewhat likely hand.

Meh, I only say it because my opponent had it. I don't think it is all that much of a stretch. Granted some people don't raise this preflop, and some people raise this flop, but it is still not THAT terrible for someone to be playing the hand like this with T7. Still, there are plenty of other holdings he has that have me beat.

I don't think it's a horrible raise really. I just think the vast majority of players aren't raising it. T7 doesn't look like a good hand. I think most donks would rather raise something like Q4. That's just a theory though.
