Sore Throat Remedies?

I'm feeling like I'm on the receiving end of Latrell Sprewell's wrath circa Golden State Warriors. My throat is killing me. Anybody got any good remedies aside from tea with honey, garggling salt water, vitamin C pills, general liquids? I'm going to NYC late Thursday night so I wanna try and be okay by then. Thanks.

Dunno. Two nights before the air conditioning was on and I also breathe through my mouth. Yesterday I started going through the remedies I know of and woke up with an even worse sore throat this morning, not to mention an awful night of sleep.

I have no idea what this meant, but what's causing the sore throat? Are you asking how to treat the cause or the symptom?

I'm asking how to treat it. Latrell Spreewell choked his coach a while back - I feel like I'm being choked.

What re you trying to treat? The throat itself or what's causing the sore throat? Why would Vitamin C make your throat feel better? If you just want your thorat to feel better, take some Tylenol, gargle a lot (some people like warm saltwater. I just use Listerine), and suck on some cough drops.

Treating whatever is causing it would require something different.
