Default Simple hand

Party 5/10

UTG is pretty loose but somewhat agro post flop with anything, even overcards sometimes, but can also have the goods. UTG1 is more TAG like, but hes too passive/loose preflop (37/4 or something). But he's capable of raising postflop with an agro of 2.2 after 450 hands.

BB just sat down, I have all of 10 hands for a VPIP of 50%.

Im sitting in the MP with 88. UTG limps, UTG1 calls, I raise, all fold except the BB who calls, rest call.

Flop is T55. BB checks, UTG checks, UTG1 bets, I raise, BB 3-bet.

Give me a line.

fold?

edit: upon actually counting the bets, yeah it looks like a call if utg+1 calls with our implied odds. you will bet getting 16.5:1 if he calls.

Peel here and try and make a boat. You'll probably make up those bets missing in the pot if you hit. He seems to have a strong hand to play back at you with.

fold if UTG+1 caps otherwise call and see the river getting 14/15:1. Then I check-fold UI

If UTG1 calls, you are getting 14:1 That means you need to make up 4 BB. I think that is doable considering these guys seem to like their hands.

Is the board rainbow or 2-tone? If rainbow I'm on board with the "call for your set outs".

doesn't matter, if we hit our out we have a boat. unless you're saying that because it will put 3 flush cards out it reduces our implied odds... but that would be a stretch.

The board is already paired, so this would be for the full house. That means we would rather have the board 2-tone, so that hopefully we can go to war with a flush.

I'm interested in the first flop raise. UTG1's bet just made the pot 9SB. Even if he puts us on UI overs, what can he have here that's strong enough to lead out into everyone that we beat?

pocket pairs lower than our 8s. the guy is relatively aggressive post flop and could have 22/33/44/66/77 here. i still do think that the raise is questionable, given these are the only hands we should raise against...
