Default 7 7 hand

I could be wrong, but I think this is an interesting hand with some tough decisions. All thoughts are appreciated. No real reads, early in session and no one in my database. Did note on 1 hand that UTG+1 wasn't real bright.

Flop and river = awful. 3bet the flop, bet the river.

why is it so bad to wait until the turn to put in a bb raise?

b/c the only guy you risk knocking out 3-bet from the BB pre-flop and is likley going nowhere anyway. Hopefully sdomeone else will cap and you can raise the turn. Its a big pot, no one is going anywhere anyways...

I like the fact that you waited to 3 bet the turn. If you 3 bet the flop you shut down the action. People are most likely drawing very slim as is. 3 betting the flop will not do anything to thin the field, everyone will call. So if your 3bet is strictly for making more money why not wait till the turn when you can make 4sb instead of just 2sb. You without a doubt should have bet the river. The fact that everyone shut down pretty much makes it 100% you have the best hand. Bet the river and get paid off.

I agree with everyone else that not betting the river is very bad. And its not a tough decision.

I am ok with holding off on the flop and 3-betting the turn. That decision is far closer. Three-betting the flop here would likely cost you several BBs on the turn (although these guys were not going anywhere.)
