If you have a hand that you want to get action with(not saying this is the case here) then sometimes its better to not push right away but to make a smaller raise.

Absolutely, wholeheartedly agree...just not sure how much, if any action I honestly want here as you alluded to.

I understand, that he has to double to have a shot and those point are few and far between as Dynasty pointed out, just not sure that adding 25% at that point would outweigh my desire to double with exposing TT to action.

I would want to get all my chips into the pot with TT as the small stack. So, often you've got to entice somebody else into aggressive play rather than just picking up the blinds with an all-in push.

I also would've pushed with 10s in that situation as well. If I had more chips, then maybe I would've tried to induce a re raise.

Hand 93 - Tex Barch has the button in seat 3, Black raises to $550,000, Kanter reraises to $1,550,000, and Black calls. The flop comes Kd-5h-3c, Kanter bets $1,000,000, and Black reraises to $4,000,000. Kanter takes some time to think about the raise. He pulls out some stacks as if to stack, and he does call. There is no raise, but there is a LOT of money in the pot as we head to the turn.

The turn card pairs the board with the 3h, Kanter checks, and Black asks Kanter how many chips he has left. Kanter counts them out, and Black checks as well.

The river card is the 8c, Kanter bets $2,000,000, and Black calls. Kanter shows pocket kings (Ks-Kc) for a full house to win the pot. His supporters explode into some of the loudest cheers of the night, as Kanter wins the largest pot of the night -- worth $15 million!

I was waiting for the Lazar meltdown to see the responses here. I'm surprised how tame it's been.

In the press conference after he got knocked out, Lazar was absolutely crushed. He knew he messed up. He said that he had planned on playing that Ace hand but chickened out for some reason. When he would've probably taken a huge pot, he just tilted. Lazar made no excuses, but was really shaken up.

It was interesting to see him talk about it. It's hard to feel bad for someone who wins that much money, but I felt bad. He talked about how he felt like he let down his family. They were all there with him, of course telling him that wasn't true.

Part of his emotions probably had to do with fatigue. It's hard to tell by the telecast, but it was very late already when he got knocked out.
