I'm just curious: How much of poker would you say is playing smart, playing the odds and maintaining a studied approach? And how much would you say is having the BALLS to go ALL IN with 7-2 offsuit against a made hand, take down the pot, look him in the eye, and *know* that you OWN him?

My sense is its about 50-50.

Hey, sorry guys. I was having some technical issued getting registered so I just wrote this goof post as sort of a dry run to test whether or not my posting capability was effective. I think both answers are intertwined a bit.

But if it were HU, all or nothing, I would select balls knowing I could outplay my opponenet. Poker is a game that rewards proper aggression and knowing how to bluff some opponent off a winning or bigger hand is ultimately like game's greatest high.
