This question is kind of bunk without knowing anything about the aliens. Assume they can learn in one year to play a game flawlessly, even a physical game, this is a horrible option for us, we should pick a game that has no skill and just hope math doesn't [censored] us short term.

If they aren't super aliens and can assume that they will only get so good in one year of practice, we should pick something that has a high level of skill and I think that should be golf.
