that wasn't really a pure bad beat post, so i won't give you a dollar. i was looking for some feedback... not just whining.

maybe i should have asked if the smooth call on the flop was a poor play?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

SB (t1190)
Hero (t2890)
UTG (t5940)
MP (t3665)
CO (t8325)
Button (t10560)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
3 folds, Button calls t100, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (t300) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets t300, Hero calls t300, Button calls t300.

Turn: (t1200) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets t790 (All-In), Hero raises to t1580, Button calls t1580.

River: (t5150) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
Hero bets t910 (All-In), Button calls t910.

Final Pot: t6970

It took me exactly 13.5 seconds to convert your hand into a readable format.

Why are you so lazy?

I'm glad you got drawn out on.

Regards,
Woodguy

i at least push the flop to make it bad odds to call with a flush draw - i would of been wrong but would of put one of the guys on a flush draw - in essence by smooth calling you gave them pot odds to call with a draw

Pushing could very possbily push both of them off the hand, 80% of the time the flush doesn't come on the turn and you can get them to bluff more money at you, and that's where you raise them.
