Default Sest out of position suck (KK hand)

Villain is unknown. Should I be betting this turn? My plan was to check and call the turn and lead the river. My thought process was that he might have the flush and I can avoid being raised, or he might bet a worst hand on the turn if I show weakness where as he would fold these hands to a turn bet (ie QQ-TT, etc).

Bet the turn 2/3 pot. He's more likely to be drawing to a flush than to already have one, and people love drawing to a 1 card flush. Check call the river, a push would be 2/3 pot and you make the most off of worse hands.

EDIT: I think a smaller pocket pair is more likely to take a free card if they have a flush draw

I think leading this turn is best. Villan could have pair/2 pair/pair+1 to the flush/etc., and I don't think you should give villan a free look at the river if he is drawing.

If he bets the turn, are you calling? With villan having only 70BBs, I try to get it in ASAP.

I usually c/c this turn if stacks are a bit deeper. But in this case, I think you are best a good % of the time.

I bet this turn, 3/4 pot to pot, 99% of the time.

i agree but more than likely the villain folds. at lot of the time donkeys on party think there pocket pair or whatever is still good when you bet the flop. but when you bet the turn they get antsy and runaway.

villain is a bit short to check this turn.

if villain had say double what he had, turn check is very much correct.

when pot is small, losing the pot is ok. beats putting in 2x, 3x pot more as a 3:1 dog.

at these stack sizes though, betting turn is ok.

but deeper, I definitely prefer checking.

This was along my thought process. The donkeys will fold the small PP to another bet, but many seem to like betting when checked to. Checking the turn seems to be the more aggressive play as opposed to betting.
