El D could say pretty much anything and people would believe it.

I like the idea TWP, but do we really want the mods forcing people to post pictures of their PT stats to prove they give good advice? That seems excessive. Besides, it doesn't take long to figure out who gives good advice and who doesn't.

i'll generally pay attention to someone who posts more than to a random guy who just started posting, but i try and stick to what is posted and not the postcount of the poster.

maybe i could use the variation of 'post' more in this post..

PokerFink,

I was joking. But in every joke there is a kernel of truth.

Meh, how many MHNL folks respond to threads in SSNL? A couple every once in awhile. People read up, and post at home IMO. I don't think many mid-posters would post in small if it got up and running nicely, which probably has both a good and a bad side to it.

If you split the forums, SSNL would lose a lot of good advice.

TWP,

There is a lot more than a kernal of truth to that. But yea, I should have realized that was a joke.

By the way, the fact that we're both using El D's prescribed method of using quick reply shows how true it is.

PokerFink,

I'm using it to make fun of it. I think it's retarded.

split sounds good to me...

anything up to .5/1 online and 1/2 live
1/2 online - 3/6 or 5/10 whatever
higher stakes

Why, there are plenty of good 100max players, and I bet the likes of Xorbie and TWP would still reply to interesting posts. I think it needs to be done. 25-100nl is very different than 200-1000nl
