Long Island Cardroom

Hello everyone,

I travel to Long Island once a month and would like to find a public cardroom in the greater Hicksville area that runs no limit holdem tournaments on weeknights. Preferable Tuesday or Wednesday.

There are no commonly known card rooms in Long Island.

There is Now! Big Slick Social Club is opening in Bohemia Long Island on January 8th 2005, and we are having a pre New Years tournament on 12/30/04. check our website www.bigslickinc.com

FOR THE RECORD - Big Slick 712's post is permitted here because he is managing/marketing/owning/etc the club. Its been said before, as a reminder to those who do not know, please do not discuss the locations of NY based card rooms unless you are one of the above! Let the owners, et al decide for themselves how and where they wish to market to players. It is illegal to operate a card game in NY State (even a home game with no rake), so lets leave these decisions up to the people who risk the most by giving us players these opportunities.

By the way, the time fee is high for the low limit games. Perhaps you want to re-think it a bit. You might get more players.
