Default 5-10 Party (6Max) - You Draw Here?

6-Handed. UTG (Villain) just sat down with 1000. BB is Laggy, but makes laydowns. I've seen BB bet and reraise with nothing, and then standard play a strong hand. I cover both, on the button.

PreFlop:

Hero (Button) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG calls 10
Folds around
Hero raises to 40
BB calls
UTG calls

Flop ( 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]) Pot ~ 120

BB Checks

UTG Bets 60

Hero Calls 60

BB Calls

Turn Board ( 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]) Pot ~ 300

BB Bets 70

UTG Raises to 175

Hero ?

Normally I'd raise here, but with two active betters the bluff half of the semi-bluff seems unlikely.

I'd seriously consider raising the flop there. 1/2 pot bet there is probably an underpair to a K or a weaker K. You may be able to fold that guy's hand, and you'll get the other guy out of the pot.

As played, you probably have to fold the turn unless you feel you have good implied odds and the BB won't push, or if you have any folding equity w/ a raise. Looks like a bad spot though and I doubt an A is an out. Also the BB may have a flush draw with you - giving you less outs.

With the expressed odds, yes. But with the implied odds? What about if the BB wasn't in it? 3-1 expressed call plus implied?

I have a problem letting go of nut draws. Its definitely a leak of mine.

Ok. I agree, fold is the way to go. But replay the hand with the BB folding the flop. Now what on the turn?

Then the turn isn't made to be $175???

I don't have a magic crystal ball to say what it would be or if you should draw, cause BB called so who knows what happens on that turn.

Your flop call I think is pretty ugly, BTW.

Although I like a flop raise here, calling the flop is fine, too. Why is it ugly?

Cause it advertises you're weak, and probably that you're drawing. If I saw the PFR cold call a bet with another guy right behind him on that flop, I'm thinking nut flush draw or maybe a flopped set of Kings (though that's far less likely IMO with two hearts on the board and two opponents with someone representing a hand in front of me).

I think any thinking opponent will pay you off less than 5% of the time you turn your flush, and will bet you off your flush draw 95% of the time if you miss on the turn.
