Default 5/10 party - JJ on the button

It's folded to me (1000) on the button, I raise to 40 with JJ. Sb folds, BB (covers) calls. I haven't played much with villian, maybe 60 hands or so, but PT says he's a little bit loose before the flop. Haven't noticed anything crazy post flop.

Flop (85): K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB checks, I bet 60. BB calls.

Turn (205): 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB checks, I bet 135. BB raises to 450. I ??

Heh .. thanks. I've been running pretty badly lately and I'm starting to doubt myself in marginal situations.

I think there are so many hands that you can beat here that you have to call. All you have done here is made a button raise when everyone else has passed, so he isn't putting you on a monster. If he has flopped two pairs he is entitled to play it like the best hand, so I think he is going to show you KJ, KT, JT often enough here for you to play your hand like it is the best hand.

when you're ahead, you usually have him crushed.

when you're behind, well, 3.5-1 ain't so bad.
