Default 2/4 Party - Top two on flop

10-handed

MP1 is a decent regular. BB is pretty loose preflop, and doesn't play very well postflop.

All stacks are around 400

I raise to 16 with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] utg

MP1 calls, BB minraises to 28. I call MP1 calls.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Pot is about 85. BB leads out for 125. Hero's move?

You could toss out a mini raise here, and still get all the draws out. This is rough, AK will likely reraise you here and the hands I fear (AA/KK) will also reraise you as well. Scary. You can't really fold here though, so you could just smooth call here, but that will lay some better odds for flush/straight draws.

It looks a bit like a split/huge loss situation. Although, I could be giving villan too much credit here.

A push might not be a bad idea. You would definately scare out the draws, and a weaker A.

I think I'll push here and pray that he calls with AQ or KQ or at worst AK.

Raise. Pretty loose PF and not good postflop means he probably has JJ/QQ here. That said, it really depends on what you mean by "bad" postflop (too agressive? slowplays too much? calling station? weak tight?) and loose preflop (plays dominated hands too hard? calls with offsuit two gappers UTG?)

He is pretty aggressive but he goes too far with dominated type hands.

I think he has AK about 75% of the time, AA/KK 10%, JJ/QQ 10%, and complete air 5%. Agreed given my description?

Edit:A/weak kicker into the QQ/JJ group.

Looks like you're hoping for AQ or AK. Only a cranially deficient person would overbet the pot with QQ/JJ here. I don't think AQ is too unlikely, but probably isn't going to call you if you push. I would call him down.
