I always thought the number was you flop a pair 26% of the time, which I just call 3/4 of the time is a miss (technically its a miss 74% of the time)

And its not possible to flop a pair OR BETTER more often than u flop a pair.

sure it is

you have the odds of flopping 1 pair as x

then you have:

odds of flopping quads
odds of flopping trips
odds of flopping a straight
odds of flopping 2 pair

these are all independant odds from the odds of flopping one pair..you mix it all together, and voila... you get the odds of flopping 1 pair OR BETTER
