Waiting for a safe turn card

I hate the way I played this hand. Leading the flop seemed donkish so my plan at the time was to checkraise a safe card on the turn. I suspect a much better line would have been to lead the flop and turn and fold to a turn/river raise.

Villain seemed TAGgy, but I only had 23 hands on him.

Forgot to mention that the table was pretty passive preflop, so I thought I could get away with limping w/ KJo - not that folding wouldn't be a good idea.
