I can see myself raising this turn for a free showdown but also calling down.

with BB still hanging around, i might raise the turn in an attempt to get it heads up since a lot of river cards can potentially hurt us, but then again, i would hate to be 3-bet, so i like your line too

heads up, i like it more

My read on the situation was this

- BB flopped a boat and was playing it fast to correctly get me to play back at him (my notes don't support this, but this was a small possibility)

- He has some raggety 6 that he is playing like a boat to get me to fold overs

- He has a 3

- He has Air

If I raise the turn, here is what could/might happen

BB

- has flush draw, is calling
- Has a made hand, is 3-betting
- has crappy 6, and is folding to the turn raise

Villian

- if he has air and I raise, might fold
- If he has air, might 3 bet, as ppl are prone to do, once they decide to bluff, they just keep betting every street no matter what hits
- If they have a boat, I get 3 bet
- If they have a 3, I get three bet
- If they have a 6, they probably jsut call
- If they have a flush draw, probably just call

I feel by raising here, I'm going to get 3-bet by air, a lot more than he's going to fold air, given the way the hand is playing out. Also, I'm only calling to see what the BB will do.

If the BB c/r everyone on the turn, I'm folding unless I have pot odds to spike an 8.

well given the fact that he played 22 like that on the flop, i dont like being put into a situation where i would have to call a 3-bet from this guy, so i like the call, the only thing to keep in mind is that someone betting with air is probably betting with a clean 6 outter
