Flopped a straight
Hello all,
Looking for some feedback on this hand. Was in the big blind and then flopped a non-nut straight. Tried to slow play on the flop and then check raise the turn. Any thoughts? Re: Flopped a straight
I like leading this flop. A J or 7 kills your action, and something like a T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] can make your cringe. Lead the flop and maybe bet/3-bet all in on the turn.

Re: Flopped a straight
The slowplay is a way of getting extra money out of tight opponents by allowing then to catch up to a second best hand.
Here, you have a second best hand already on a very draw-heavy board. People often limp with lower face cards and you're facing 3 limpers. What are the odds that at least one of them has a better straight draw? Plus, you're in lousy position. Try to take the pot now. |
