Nut flush/Nut low draw on paired flop.
Only played about 20 hands with villain here, and his stack was pretty much right where it was when I sat at the table. Seems like he's seeing a lot of flops, so I'm not sure if he got his stack by playing well or catching well.

Re: Nut flush/Nut low draw on paired flop.
You have small amount of equity against trips and in bad shape against a made boat. There's a pretty significant chance he's making a move, though, since stacks that big are usually built through reckless play. I think I'd push here.

Re: Nut flush/Nut low draw on paired flop.
I recognize this player--he's a bit loose preflop and definitely has LAG tendencies postflop. With that in mind, I think the reraise preflop from the big blind is a mistake. A236 is a great hand, but you're going to put yourself in a tough situation unless three to a low come or you flop a wrap of some kind. It's a hand that has bettability/callability in a relatively small pot, but not one you will frequently be wanting to get all-in on the flop with. Plus, A23 is a good one to have disguised.
Anyway, given that you got things going preflop and then led at the flop, I'd lean towards calling here and hope to catch the club and/or a low. You've got nearly 2:1 odds, I think you have to take it (although A25 is the most likely hand you're going to see here, so a low card other than A/2 is probably still going to get you quartered). |
