HUSH under new moderation - input appreciated!

Hey HUSH,

Robk, who IMHO did a great job as moderator, has just added me as a moderator, with the intent of largely turning the reins over to me. I plan on following his example with a fair, hands-off policy except in severe/extreme cases. IMO HUSH doesn't need much moderation, but I'm here do to the best job I can - any and all input would be appreciated regarding how it has been handled in the past and improvements for the future.

In addition, if you have any questions at any point please feel free to PM me and i'll answer it as soon as I can. Also, if you spot the beginnings of a flame war, etc, i'd appreciate a notice so we can keep the board as clean as possible.

Apparently I should have read the whole thread. When did quote pyramids become uncool?

Seriously, we need the split. Many of us are stuck posting in Micros where we get only a few responses to questions because most play ring. It seems silly posting beginning questions and such in a forum where people are pulling down thousands a month.

Retarded quote pyramid or not, we need the split.

If you need an argument other than "the majority of the forum favors it and the traffic really has gotten too much for one forum to bear" then this looks like a pretty good one:
