Re: AKo and the whole table goes crazy preflop
You should have just folded after UTG limp reraised to 67. Problem solved.

Re: AKo and the whole table goes crazy preflop
If UTG is a reasonable player he is raising you and not really taking the bad button into account (except for knowing the button will give him a chance to raise his limp). If you don't have a read on him, I doubt he has much of read on you (assuming you just joined the table). Would you normally call a re-raise like this with AK without a read? I wouldn't. Fold, and wait for a better spot.
Another way to look at it, if the button is pushing every hand, and you are the Utg and get dealt a big hand like AA or KK, wouldn't you limp, and wait to re-raise the button after a couple of others committed money into the pot. I would. I would be very suprised if the UTG didn't have AA, KK, QQ or AK, with AA or KK being most likely. |

results? [/ QUOTE ] UTG had JJ Maniac had 88 BB had AQo Board was AK and three blanks and I took down a 502$ pot, my biggest to date. I don't want to be resultsoriented though and a fold would probably be in order to the first reraise by UTG. |
