Default PV for postgreSQL?

Does anyone know the timeline for a PV that supports postgreSQL? It would make things a lot faster for me (and I wouldn't have to keep up with two seperate databases).

and here is their answer
from plaverview forums

"Currently PV does not support PGSQL and I'm not sure if it will. I'm not sure if I'm willing to add to the growing number of people sharing databases over networks. If I do support it I might limit it to using databases on the local network only. Feel free to comment on this"

Sounds like the commercialization has made Amir lazy and unwilling to adapt to the changing environments.

Who needs PV, just download PokerAce Hud which is 100x better anyways and SUPPORTS Postgres...

I was worried about the sharing of data but it looks like no matter what I do data will be shared. I'm going to release an SQL version tomorrow.

Just curious why anyone would still use PlayerView. Are there features that it has that PokerAce HUD does not. I have not used PlayerView but it is unclear to me what your $50 gets you that you do not get for free with PA HUD.

Amir- thanks.

Others- I bought PV before PA was released. I actually dled PA to look at it, but to me it didn't look as asthetically apealing as PV (I didn't like the black number backgrounds, maybe you can change this, I dunno).

Yes, a transparent background option would be better. I'd actually love to see this in PA-HUD. Isn't competition grand?

In PA Hud you can change font face, size, bold, underline, italic, color, and background color. Transparent backgrounds are coming soon.

As a current PV customer I feel I am qualified to answer this question. Too easy...next time do some research!

For $50 these are the features you get with PV that you do not get with PokerAce Hud:

1. Bugs, bugs and more bugs.
2. Lack of upgrades and improvements
3. Lack of support
4. Ownership who does not care

Hmm, what else...

Oh yeah, $50 less in your bank account.
