However, there just comes a point when having more money is just unnecessary.

[/ QUOTE ]

And whom do you suggest gets to decide what that amount is for other people?

If there were no rich people, no one would be able to create new companies or invest in the future. Investing leads directly to new jobs, and more money for others. Rich people don't pile their money in a mattress, they use it in the economy.

The uber-rich only pay in a small amount of what they're worth. Even the upper-upper-middle class are worth mostly their income, and as long as that's where taxes are coming from, it's going to be hard to build wealth.

[/ QUOTE ]

When was it easy to build wealth? Also which economy makes it the easiest to build wealth?

dude just read his post and use common sence, or do liberals not have that part of the brain?

[/ QUOTE ]

I read it. I still don't see why it's stealing UNLESS "the government" "really needs it". Does the government have rights that individuals do not have?

Is taxes=theft a "liberal" idea??? Or do you just assume that everyone that doesn't see things your way is a liberal?

When the income tax was passed, didn't all the politicians say something like the common man would never pay more than 5% or something like that?
