ABC=Always be calling
- key to any winning strategy

TAG=Tight Agressive
-these are the players you want at your table. They fold too much, making it easy to take pots away from them.

No need to be mean to the new guy.

ABC is just a basic, no frills approach to poker - sticking to the fundamentals and not making any fancy plays.

TAG - Tight-Agressive, which is the style of play you should be shooting for - not playing very many hands, but playing those hands agressively.

Playing ABC poker means playing a good solid game, playing "by the book". Play premium starting hands, don't try to bluff bad low limit players, don't call to the end with marginal hands, hoping to fill something like a low straight that might not win if you hit it.

TAG is tight aggressive. LAG is loose aggressive. Tight players don't play a lot of hands, loose players do. Passive players check and call. Aggressive players bet and raise.

I knew someone would give him the link to the abbreviations section. Just thought I put something funny down. I just reread it, not really that funny.
