Default Hand against a LA-P

Villain is 42/12/0.8 for about 50 hands
Party 5/10 6 Max, Hero is MP with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Pre-flop: 1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds SB calls, 1 fold

Flop (2.4BB): 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Villain bets, Hero raises, Villain calls.

Turn (4.3BB): 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villain checks, Hero bets, intending to fold to a checkraise, however, the question regards the river.

If the river comes a K, J, or 8, do you fold to a gaybet? (Pot would be 7.3BB including opponent's bet)

Default Re: Hand against a LA-P

I probably call a river 8, but fold to a river K or J.

I wouldn't raise this flop. I would call with the intention of raising a brick turn. If the turn puts 4 straight cards in action then I would just call down and make a note of what villian donkbet the flop with.
