Why I decided NOT to play the WSOP Final
5,000 players..........what a lotto.
Yea, I won an online tourney with 4600 players once. I was just lucky to have a rush at the last 2 tables. Who wants to play for 7 days..... with early days lasting over 12 hours each day? Saved my $10 for the WPT........ better odds, better vacation too (not in Vegas in July! |

Re: Why I decided NOT to play the WSOP Final
Well, it's a pretty good payout. Already at 90th place you get $91,950 (as an example)...

Not to mention if you place high in the event you will get some tv time and exposure. That is worth something in itself

[ QUOTE ]
Who wants to play for 7 days..... with early days lasting over 12 hours each day? [/ QUOTE ] Some people work some pretty nasty jobs 12 hours+ on a regular basis just to feed their family, I would think the fact of the ME being physically and psycologically demanding because of the long hours would be no deterrent to a determined player that loves the game. I also realize I am not in a position to judge, since I am certainly not a pro player. |
