Against a bad LAG I typically 3 bet preflop with any hand that has showdown value, and then show it down, and put in extra bets if I hit a hand, though I think just calling is also ok.

Post flop I play it the same, assuming he's the type to bet this flop/turn, which sounds like that was what your read was.

I would check/call the flop and bet (intend to 3-bet) the turn here. Either that or just come out betting on the flop.
