Default Good blind D, or awful poker?

SB is essentially an unknown (~75 hands, fairly passive so far).

Paradise Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 5 folds, Button calls, SB raises, Hero calls, UTG calls, Button calls.

Standard, or do you let this go against a relative unknown who hasn't shown much aggression?

Flop: (8 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, UTG folds, Button folds, SB 3-bets, ...

Here's where I think I screwed up. The pot is large, so I don't want to let it go having caught a tiny piece of the flop. My (flawed?) thinking is that I might get hands like A5 or K5 to fold behind me, cleaning up 3 outs. I feel like SB probably has me beat, and I'm sure of it after he 3-bets.

Should I fold this flop? If not, what's my line after the 3-bet?

If you're sure you're beat, fold the hand. You've only flopped bottom pair, it's not the best spot to defend against Facing the 3 bet on the flop, I fold.

It's not strictly blind defense since you aren't HU, but this is a fine call to make in this situation if your post flop skills are good.

I don't like the flop raise at all. A5 probably isn't folding, and K5 isn't a particularly likely holding. If the players behind you are passive, you could conceivably call on the flop and fold the turn UI, but if they're aggressive, you should be more inclined to fold. You might already be behind 2 pair or a set and be drawing dead. Getting almost exactly the odds you need to peel, folding is probably good. As you played it, call the 3bet. On the turn, you'll barely have the pot odds you need to continue, so you may have to fold given the chance you are behind AA, KK or AK.

Folding to the 3bet would be pretty bad here.

You should be paying more attention. 75 hands is over an hour's worth of playing with him. You should have *SOMETHING* useful on him by now. Raising standards? Anything?

This isnt blind defense. You are not heads up with a LP raiser or SB raiser.

And you sure like to raise with nothing.

After 75 hands, how could he be unknown. Even if u were 8 tabling and u saw the numbers 22/3/2 -- you'd have a decent understanding of what he could be raising with.

he isnt gonna raise OOP with garbage after 2 limpers, and if he did he isn't gonna lay it down without a fight, fold the flop, or call the flop and draw to 5 outs, folding UI

Preflop call is very standard.

Flop raise is bad. You are surely behind on a flop like this. Call and hope to improve on the turn, and maybe (if pot odds allow) draw again to the river.

Hey dog...

I'm not convinced that flop raise is awful because you might fold QQ-TT if they check and you bet turn. That said, I would probably just call here. Getting 9-1, you should definitely at least call, and getting 13-1 you should definitely call the 3 bet. Fold turn unimproved though.. you'll only be getting 8-1 and you could be up against AK.
