Default flush draw vs. two made straights

Omaha Hi $0.50-$0.50 PL (real money)

Seat 5: Straight1 (UTG+3, $47.75)
Seat 8: Hero (MP3, $47.50) [6c Td Ac Js]
Seat 10: Straight2 (Button, $33.75)

PRE-FLOP
B1 posts blind ($0.50), B2 posts blind ($0.50), MP2 posts blind ($0.50). UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, Straight1 calls $0.50, MP1 calls $0.50, MP2 checks, Hero calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, Straight2 calls $0.50, B1 checks, B2 checks.

FLOP [Tc 8h 7c]
B1 checks, B2 checks, Straight1 bets $2, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, Hero calls $2, CO folds, Straight2 bets $12, B1 folds, B2 folds, Straight1 calls $10, Hero folds because he is an ignorant sissyman, as verified by twodimes moments later:

pokenum -o 7h 5d 9d jc - ah 9h 5s jd - 6c td ac js -- tc 8h 7c
Omaha Hi: 666 enumerated boards containing Tc 7c 8h
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
Jc 9d 5d 7h 13 1.95 313 47.00 340 51.05 0.268
5s Jd Ah 9h 34 5.11 284 42.64 348 52.25 0.306
Js Ac 6c Td 271 40.69 361 54.20 34 5.11 0.426

Does everyone just shove in on the flop w/the nut flush draw when action returns following the LP raise and EP call? Does anyone worry about scary monsters like JTT9?

For some reason flush draws vex me. I hate chasing with improper odds vs. one foe and have trouble figuring out when to pull the trigger vs. multiple foes.

Usually, you have pot odds to call for a nut flush draw in multi-way pots since there is extra money in the pot.

Also, having extra outs (your straight draw) adds to your hand. If the straight draw is good it adds significanty to your hand. In this case, it will probably only get you a split pot.

You also have a pair, which could turn into runner runner full house, and you have one blocker to someone with a set. Not much, but adds 1-3% to your hand.

When you are drawing live, you don't have to fear a monster as much. You may actually want to play against big hands so you get paid off when you hit.

I recently had the same problem. I had two people marked with the nut straight, and I had the ace flush draw. at the time I folded, but then I found out that I was actually +ev there. Next time I think I'll push.

Speak of the devil. It just happened.

pokenum -o 3d as 8d 2s - 7h 8s qh kc - 5c 8h 7s 5d -- 9h ts 6s
Omaha Hi: 666 enumerated boards containing Ts 6s 9h
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
As 2s 8d 3d 218 32.73 448 67.27 0 0.00 0.327
8s Kc Qh 7h 110 16.52 246 36.94 310 46.55 0.398
7s 5c 5d 8h 28 4.20 328 49.25 310 46.55 0.275

I was just under 33% ev, but there was about $40 dead money in the pot, so it was the right choice to go in for $50 to win 195.

I lost BTW
