Default Fold AK as short stack?

What do you do?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (7 handed) converter

MP2 (t3570)
CO (t2185)
Button (t760)
SB (t2645)
Hero (t985)
UTG (t1525)
MP1 (t1250)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP2 calls t100, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to t300</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to t800</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero...</font>

You want this kind of action as a short stack. True, you don't rate to be ahead, someone probably has a pocket pair. But odds are, you have a good chance of winning this hand, and a good chance at tripling up....at least 2.5xing your stack.

All in the sb is simply trying to isolate the button by reraising his stack size. You might not be ahead but you shouldn't be too far behind.

As a short stack, I would not let this opportunity slip away. It might be the end of you, but it might make you healthier. The chance that two players would come in is even more enticing when an A or K on the board probably wins the hand for you. With a large stack, I would think folding might be a good option.

Yah, I did instantly call its just if I had a deeper stack I might fold here since the re-raise came from a pretty tight player. He showed AA and I busted out.
