question about my game selection
my weekly hold em game has gotten out of control. it is usually 5-8 handed and 3 of the regulars are calling stations. everytime i have something to play 4 of us will see the flop and they will call anything no matter what. if youre wondering, the blinds we play at are 2.50 and 5. its crazy, before, only one was a calling station but now 3 of them are. they keep sucking out on me on the turn or river. should i just find a new game? this weekend i found a weekly sit-n-go game where they play about 3 of them a night. should i just play there instead? this has really gotten to my head and making me think im a bad player. i just cant win there anymore. please i need opinions guys

Re: question about my game selection
You should be happy for having more calling stations in the game. Just play your game and don't turn into a calling station yourself and you will beat them over time. And don't try to bluff them of course.

Re: question about my game selection
thats what i try to do. i get the money in the pot when im the best of it but when theres a minimum of 2 calling stations then i know i'll get unlucky at times. its just that this has been the case for last id say about 12-15 hours of play or so.

Re: question about my game selection
12-15 hours is nothing.
You can get unlucky for months. Don't worry about it. Just play each situation as it comes up and let the winning take care of itself. |
