Default Bury 3/19

Sort of a crosspost from NVG.

Gonores, Bicyclekick, MEbenhoe, and myself will all likely be playing a ridiculous game tomorrow night at the Park.

Any and all MN players are invited to join in the action. Just wanted to post this and see if we could get something going.

Would love to meet other 2+2ers (if I haven't already played against you without knowing it) at Canterbury. Been playing there for 4 years).

What time are you all playing? What game? Is this going to be one of those $3-$6 whoo dads where we all buy in for $1K?

Looking forward to it.

Doug and the others are saying something around 4 or 5.

We'll probably be playing 3/6 hold 'em. 2/4 is for wusses.

Is it going to be one of those ridiculously LAG games? Quite possibly. High probability of the standard buy-in (at least for us) being around 3 racks. BK brought 22 last time, but I don't predict that we'll sell it out as much as we did last time - the dealers still remember our antics of December 22, 2004. You never know though.

I'll be there either very early (4p) or late (midnight). I would suggest a minimum buy-in of 5 racks. Not that it will necessarily be needed, but seeing a 3/6 table loaded with 5000+ chips is pretty cool.

And yes, the dealers all remember the game.

I definitly got a comment about the Dec. 22nd game last time I played from one of the dealers.

Dealer: "Where's your mountain of chips?"
Me(confused): "What?"
Dealer: "Where's the mountain of blues I saw you with last time I dealt to you?"
Me(pulling it together): "Oh you must be talking about that one night in the 3/6 game right before Christmas"
Dealer: "Yeah"
Me: "Yeah, I was pretty drunk that night."
Dealer: "I know."

no way -

got a private home game tonight - much easier pickings -

actually, I've heard of the drunk magoo poker you guys play - give me a nice quiet Canterbury regular anyway who only makes it 3 bets before looking at his cards....not 5 the way you guys do.

I'm coming home from Madison at noon. This game seems so tempting, but I can just picture myself getting drunk and blowing off 4 racks. But thats the point right?
