Default Vegas Trip Post #2: Why are \"Dealer Games\" so dang wild?

Post #2 from my Vegas trip.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that any game that features more than one dealer sitting at the table as a player tends to be insanely loose and wild?

I've experienced that on a number of occasions, but on my Vegas trip I witnessed several "dealer games" that defied description. "Loose-aggressive" was an understatement. Two or more dealers sit down in a game (these are people who day in and day out witness the habits of both winning and losing players) and then lose their minds. Raise. Reraise. Checkraise. Raise in the dark. Straddle.

I'm just curious as to what exactly causes a person to blow his entire night's tip earnings on 4-5 hands of poker.

I've noticed this too. I'm a low stakes player but I sat down at a 1-3 table (not in Vegas, though) and saw a dealer sit down next to me and blow his buy in 3 times over and then get up in leave in half an hour, constantly playing really crappy hands and constantly raising

You realize that half the dealers are busted pros right? Apparently they don't learn.
