A 10 all in call late in a live tournament
Ok, this is just for my education, last week in a live tournament, about 100 players, 60+15 buy in, 14 left, final table make the money. I have about 13,000 chips, with 500/1000 blinds, my stack is above average. 7 handed, I am MP with A 10s, I raised to 4,000, the player to my left goes all in, he has like 100 chips more than me, I just moved to this table two hands ago, have no reads what so ever, everyone folded, what would you do?

I'd have pushed preflop. I'd fold to the reraise.

Re: A 10 all in call late in a live tournament
costs 9K for a chance at 18.5K. That's 2:1 and a call. I'd have raise to 2500 or 3K.... and then folded to the push. But this is a clear call, esp. in a live tourney where players' raising standards are looser.

Re: A 10 all in call late in a live tournament
I guess I don't mind a call that much. What range do you put villain on coming over the top of you? If villain is tight you're probably worse than a 2:1 dog and if he's loose you're probably slightly better than 2:1 dog.
