1/2 Flop move - comments please?
Hi guys.
Hand is recalled from memory. Can I have some comments on how bad this play is? I have 4d 5d on big blind. EP min raises, and MP1, SB and I see a flop of: 6h 7d Kd. SB checks, I check (comments?) intending to re-raise EP. EP pots it, and all fold to me. He has $60 left, and I push. He calls, shows AK, which holds up. No biggie, but.. Should I have led the flop - maybe potted it? If EP had a bigger stack, I would have 2x his raise. Is that a sound play? What if turn bricks, and I end up in a huge pot, out of position, in all sorts of trouble? Thanks in advance! |

If villain you're sure that villain is going to bet this flop, then I think it might be good to check thru first with the plan of raising when it comes back around. This will trap more $$ into the pot, and make your play of pushing the draw even better.
