Default Chip and a chair situation.

Hero has ~18k left after posting his 7.5k small blind. One limper up front. Limper and BB each have 100k+. Hero has J8o. Push?

EDIT: By the way, this is the final table, and 8 remain. 8th pays 700, 7th pays ~1100. First pays ~8k.

If I felt there was zero chance that the BB folds to a push, of course I just call. By doing this there is a much greater chance of getting someone to fold after the flop. BB will call anything preflop, but maybe not when it totally misses.

Hero completes.

If you can't complete a raise then you can't squeeze BB.

I'd push any flop for the same reason. (If BB calls it shows weakness to opener)

Pretty sure that this is in like Ch 1 of TPFAP. Only difference is that Sklansky has 32o and it's limit instead of NL.

It never occurred to me to complete, but that's a great idea. Here's a funny thing, though: At the table, I pushed, and BB folded!

Of course the other villain called and turned over AJ. Ah well.

Well pushing was correct if there is a chance BB will fold Thats the decision you have to make.

This is tough. You know, no one limps at this level with nothing, so he's probably gonna call your push. Hope for two live cards I guess.
