What\'s this * under my name?
Anyone know why I have an asterisk under my name instead of what it previously was (Journeyman)?

The new Mod in OOT has some sort of * rating for people who start stupid threads. He hasn't yet fully explained what the different number of stars means. He eventually bans people.

It means that the season has been extended slightly, and you reached journymen status just after the original season would have ended, but before the new one actually ended.
