I just check here, 100% of the time. If you hit your set, you're doubling or tripling, no doubt about it.

Re: JJ in BB with a table full of limpers
I hate raising here out of position. I would pass up medium situations like this early and really on late game pushing skills.
JJ isn't strong enough and at this level you are getting called by all sorts of trash. 50% chance of overcards flopping and you are going to be out of position with no idea where your hand is and how people are going to act. I check here, and bet at a undercard flop or play for set value. |

Check, flop a set, get all the money in, win at showdown.

Yeah, but as Raptor said, if you MOH it you'll get called by 77 every time.

Yeah, but as Raptor said, if you MOH it you'll get called by 77 every time. [/ QUOTE ] you are betting 1470 into a pot of 150 with a measly pair of jacks. yes it may be +EV, but if you see a flop, your edge will potentially be much better. |

Re: JJ in BB with a table full of limpers
Oh I know, I said to check as well. Guess what I'm sayin is that a standard raise doesn't make much sense to me...if hero really wants to raise here, it should be a push.
