Default 4-8 Wynn ?

i am going to start by saying that i have THE coolest wife. she just told me about a suprise vegas trip. we leave tomorrow (friday) and are staying at the wynn till monday. we both like low limit 3-6 , 4-8 and 1-2 nl. we've played at mirage, bellagio, monte carlo, luxor, excaliber and the plaza, . was wondering what the 4-8 game is like at the wynn. anyone play in this game? personally i like to play in games with soft, loose, weak competion.

also, any wynn restaurant comments would be most welcome. i imagine that we'll have one really nice meal.

thanks in advance!

You will enjoy both the $4-$8 limit and the $1-$3 NL games at the Wynn. The Aquarium is full and waiting ...

Make sure you sign up for their RED Players Card. You will earn $1 an hour towards comps, and you can also get your room rates reduced.

As for restaurants, there are 13 of them at the Wynn, for all price ranges. Haven't had a bad meal at any of them.

If you enjoy Asian food (Chinese specifically), their Red 8 restaurant has very good food for very reasonable prices (given they are a restaurant in the Hotel).

If you're looking for a nice place to eat that won't bust your wallet, try the coffee shop. Other than that the whole place is ridiculously expensive. There's a little deli down the hall from the poker room where I paid about $13 for a small cappucino and cold pre-made sandwich. At least the cappucino was good.

The 4/8 game is just like any other 4/8 game in town, loose and full of tremendously awful players.

4/8 game at Wynn is great. I too tried the little deli shop next to the room and was dissapointed, 14 bux for a coke and a terrible premade sub.
