4-8 limit kill game. This situation, a new young guy comes in (villain). No read but seems loose.
Preflop Action: 10 handed. UTG villain calls kill 6. CO hero raises w 88. MP LAG with kill calls. everyone else folds. 3 hands. 42 dollars. 37 after rake. Flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] villain bets, MP folds, hero raises, villain calls. 61 dollars in pot. Turn: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] villan bets 12 (5 more in his stack so he can't hurt you that much if you call river) Do you call turn? Ask me for the results if interested. |

Re: Calling Hand?
He has $5 left after his bet? Just put him all in.

Re: Calling Hand?
I think if he had a 7 he would go for the check raise on turn to ensure that he got all his chips in. Regardless, I would raise to get his last 5 chips in since at that point you are getting about 4.5 to 1. You should be ahead more times than that to make it profitable, and folding an overpair here just seems too weak for me.

Re: Calling Hand?
I felt really upset when he bet the turn, my instincts felt like he caught his top pair, but I thought he can't bet hurt me too much because he was about to be all in. I just felt I made some overcalls in that situation, and that hand hurt me after playing solid winning poker at this particular casino and getting beat like this. The result ended w him having trips. He had a horrible 74o. dammit!
