Has anyone else heard this "Rumor"

yes rumor... but supposedly Helmuth has been training his wife how to play poker and she won a decent sized multi on party recently. I wonder if she will be as buck as phil at the table.

Actually, according to the "bad beats and lucky draws" book, she isn't like Phil at all - she apparently takes even the most awful of beats in stride.

It would be very interesting to see what Phil would do if his wife busted him out of the WSOP on a two-outer though...

If it weren't for his endorsments, she would probably make more money. I think she is a surgeon.

Interestingly, Robert Varkonyi says his wife is better at poker than he is too. How do I know? He told me when I talked some with him in person.
