I think I'd bet out on the flop, and if I was raised, think very hard about check/folding if I didn't improve on the turn. If you don't get raised, bet the turn then check/call the river.
The problem with a check-raise on the flop is that it represents a stronger hand than you have, so the guy with the queen will probably just go into check/call mode with his QT, and you'll wind up betting his hand for him. You know he ain't gonna fold that queen.... |

The reason I've been going for c/r on flop in this position recently isn't so much for the QT folding as the A4. But it really is a big-pot many-player strategy, and in this relatively small pot, I think you're right that it's too fancy.
